Robert Plenner, 91, of Peru, passed away, Saturday, April 16, 2016, at the LaSalle County Nursing Home in Ottawa.
Mr. Plenner was born April 29, 1924, in Chicago to Abe and Anna (Margolis) Plenner. He married Therese P. Lemrise on June 27, 1970, in Chicago. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the European theatre of operations during World War II. He was an inspector for the U.S. Department of Agriculture for 36 years and was a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees.
Survivors include his sister-in-law, Rita Plenner of Deerfield, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Therese on February 9, 2016, and two brothers, Irving and Jack Plenner.
