Pfund, L. Robert, 78, of Ridgewood and Harvey Cedars, NJ, passed away surrounded by family on December 14, 2015. Beloved husband of the late Georgette, who predeceased him in 2012. Loving father of Gerald and Becky of Ho-Ho-Kus, David and Gina of Ridgewood, Cathryn and Amvrosios of Ho-Ho-Kus. Adoring grandfather of Sarah, Luke, Jackson, Ryan, Sienna, and Colette. A parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church, Ridgewood. Bob was a US Navy Veteran. Bob earned both his B.S. and Masters Degree at Farleigh Dickinson University. He was Vice-President and Senior Operating Officer of Avon Products Inc., retiring in 1992 after 28 years. He served as a member of the Board of Trustees of The Valley Hospital for 12 years; Bob was a former Board Member of Bush Boake Allen, Inc.; He was a past member of the Ridgewood High School Football Scholarship Committee; and charter member of the Ridgewood Stablehands Breakfast Society; He was a former member of both Hackensack and Ridgewood Country Clubs. Bob was known for the lifelong friendships he made, his generosity, and his total devotion and love of family. He will be greatly missed.
