Robert P. Perro, Sr., of Burlington Township, died peacefully Wednesday surrounded by family at the Samaritan Hospice in Mt. Holly. Robert was born in Burlington and was a lifelong resident. He was employed at the Boeing Vertol Plant in Essington, PA, where he proudly worked on the CH-46 Chinook Helicopter military project which was the backbone of the Vietnam War. From there he was employed by the Township of Burlington and retired as Senior Park Supervisor. Rob was an active member of the community serving on both the Burlington Township Zoning Board and the Mayor’s Committee.

He belonged to the Roma Club, Elks, TK Kozciusko Club and was a AARP member and Spokesman. A devout Catholic, he was a parishioner of Corpus Christi Church and enjoyed tending to his garden of flowers, reading and listening to Jazz. Robert loved his family and to spend time with them, but he also was a Jeopardy fan, and that hour was quiet time for he and the game.

Robert was predeceased by his parents Peter Perro and Rose Piechowski Perro and a brother Herman Perro. Robert continues his life journey into Heaven to also join his late Wife: Marie (Nee: Koveleski). He is survived by their children: Karen Perro Rodd, Robert Perro, Jr., Jeffery Perro (Heidi); siblings Darlene Perro Kane (Bill), sister in law Phyllis; grandchildren: Christina Seguin (Joseph), Alisa Rodd, Jeffery Perro, Jr., Nicole Perro, Michael Perro, Matthew Perro; great grandchildren: Giovanna Seguin, Natalie Seguin and many nieces, nephews and friends.
