Robert P. Levasseur of Bradford, MA, 74, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on June 25, 2022. He was originally from Danvers, where he retired from his 25-year career with the Town of Danvers as the DPW Facilities Manager. Bob is survived by his wife of 31 years, Jeralyn Richards, his sons, Robert of Hampton, NH, Eric and his wife, Misty, of Chester, MD and two beloved granddaughters, Kylie, and Tory. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph, and Ruth (Thibodeau) Levasseur of Danvers. He leaves behind his brothers Paul and his wife Ann of Oregon, Charles and his wife Jan of Danvers, David and his wife Tina of Georgia, and Roland and his wife Marianne of Rowley. There are many nieces and nephews that he loved. Bob loved his Labrador Retriever, Major who misses him greatly.
Bob was most proud of all the preventative maintenance work he did for the schools and buildings in Danvers. When you walked through any of the schools or town buildings you could see the love, and pride he put into making them safe and most importantly clean. He created a manual that was implemented by the Town of Wakefield.
Bob oversaw about 30 employees who took care of the town’s buildings and schools. He developed a checklist of all the buildings systems to make sure they were safe and stayed safe.
