Wallingford – Robert S. Oros, 83, of Wallingford, departed this life on Tuesday, September 9, 2008 suddenly.
Robert was born on August 20, 1925, in Wallingford, son of the late Joseph and Susan (Farkas)Oros.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, having served during World War II. He was employed previously at Wallace Silversmiths and White Way Laundry in Wallingford. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, softball, basketball, golfing and bowling. He was also a member of the Wallingford Silver Bullets Senior League as well as a member of the Wallingford American Legion and the V.F.W.
He will be sadly missed by his brother Richard Oros and his wife Janice of Middletown. His sister-in-law Ruth Oros of Wallingford, in addition to numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by 4 sisters, and 4 brothers.
