Robert N. Hixon, 81, of Potomac, Maryland passed away on September 19, 2017 at Georgetown Hospital due to cancer complications. He was born in Los Angeles, California on August 16, 1936. He served honorably in the Army from December 1959-September 1961. He worked for 32 years for the Department of the Navy until his retirement in 2001. He is survived by his loving wife Dorine K. Hixon of 58 years and his daughter Cheryl E. Hixon who were at his bedside at his time of passing .
