Robert N. Raps of Carver formerly of Boston passed away peacefully surrounded by family on June14th at B.I.D. Hospital Plymouth. He was the beloved husband of Suzanne C. (Fogg) Raps. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on March 5, 1936 he was raised in Boston by his grandmother the late Mary MacLeod King. He was a graduate of Boston English High School. He went on to serve his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War .He worked as a Machinist for many years for International Equipment in Needham after his retirement he worked for Ocean Spray Cranberry in Plymouth as a Tour Guide. He had also worked at Sam’s Club in Plymouth giving out food samples to the customers. An avid sports fan of the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots, he also had a great love of airplanes and WWII buff. He and his wife traveled thought out the country and Canada and he spent lots of time in his yard doing gardening and had a great fondness for animals especially his dog Bentley.Besides his loving wife Suzanne he is survived by his daughter Cheryl A. Romero and her husband Dr. Jorge Romero of Dallas, Texas and his Son Robert N. Jr. and his wife Karin of Southbrook. He was the grandfather of Robert N.Raps III, Caroline Raps and Jessica Azoff.
