Robert Moses Kitchen was born March 18, 1973, to Tom and Linda (Thorpe) Kitchen. Moses attended Moberly public schools and was a high school graduate in 1991. He was a standout athlete in baseball, basketball, and track and field. Moses also enjoyed pitching horse shoes, hunting, and fishing with his dad and late Grandpa JW Kitchen. He adopted Grandpa Kitchen’s saying of “Yep-Yep-Yep.” Moses also attended Missouri Valley College in Marshall, Missouri.

Moses had a strong love for life, his family, and his friends. He transitioned from this life to eternity on Monday, July 6, 2020. Moses was baptized at an early age at Second Baptist Church, Huntsville, Missouri where he remained a member until his passing.

Moses is survived by his parents Tom and Linda Kitchen of Moberly, MO, two brothers Tom Kitchen Jr, “TK” (Deborah) of Columbia, MO, and Todd Kitchen (Andrea) of Fayetteville, AK, and one son Alshaun Oliver of Moberly, MO, two daughters Ayana Kitchen of Moberly, MO and A’Nyia Kitchen of Springfield, MO, grandson Zayden Williams of Moberly, MO, three nieces Brianna of Bentonville AK, Tia of Columbia, MO, and Adriana of Fayetteville, AK, nephew Todd “TJ” Kitchen Jr. of Fortworth, TX, several uncles, aunts, cousins, and a host of friends.

Moses was preceded in death by his Grandparents JW and Ruth Kitchen, Wyatt and Edith Thorpe, and Uncles John Estel and Ronald Kitchen.
