Robert Lewey, age 46 of Granite City, IL, passed away on February 25, 2021, at his residence. Robert was born on March 30, 1974, in Germany. He loved being outdoors, especially partaking in his favorite hobbies which included fishing, hunting, hiking, and camping. He always had to have something to do and was never one to sit still for long. He enjoyed listening to classic heavy metal music. Robert absolutely cherished his family and friends, as they did him, and he will be greatly missed.
Robert was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Ann Palmer; a sister, Vickie Ann Bergman; and his grandparents, Donna and Otis Palmer. Surviving Robert is his father, Paul E. Lewey, Jr. of Santa Teresa, NM; his brother, Paul (Cynthia) Lewey, III of Phoenix, AZ; a sister, LaDonna Palmer of Mt. Vernon, IL; along with two nieces, many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
