Robert M. Tomasetti, age 60, passed away on Saturday August 20, 2016 at Samaritan Hospice, at Virtua Hospital in Mount Holly. Beloved son of the late Pat and Jennie (“Jean”) Tomasetti, Bob lived in the Farnerville section of Burlington City for over fifty years. He graduated from the William R. Allen School, attended the Life Skills Center and worked at OTC in Westampton.
Bob admired and collected music of all genres, from classical to MoTown. He listened to his favorite Christmas music throughout the year. An avid sports fan, he enjoyed watching football, baseball, boxing, golf and NASCAR races on television. He looked forward to celebrating holidays, birthdays, and weddings – any opportunity to dance, sing and enjoy Italian food. Bob especially loved his family and friends. If he met you he would never forget you. Bob will be remembered for his sense of humor, pleasant disposition, keen memory and loving disposition. Everyone he loved will miss him.
Survivors include his sister and caregiver Patricia, brother Jim and sister-in-law Veronica (“Vonnie”), nieces Maria and Gina Tomasetti, his aunts, an uncle and many cousins and friends. Special friends include members of the Leone family and Lucy Drone. The family wishes to express our sincere appreciation to the entire staff of Samaritan Hospice for providing such wonderful care to Robert and his family.
