SMITH, Mr. Robert M. Kalamazoo, Michigan Died Wednesday afternoon May 27, 2009. Robert was born February 7, 1928 in Cook County, Illinois a son of Arthur and Mary Thielen Smith. Years ago, he served honorably with the U.S. Army. Robert had been a Kalamazoo area resident for 47 years and was employed with Consumer Power for 39 years, retiring in 1988.
He was preceded in death by his parents. On April 7, 1951, he was united in marriage to Julia A. Wright Smith who survives. Also surviving, 2 daughters, Carol George Watral of Deltona, FL and Dorothy Robert Watson of Kalamazoo.
