Robert M. Papapietro, 73, of Bristol, CT and Stuart, FL, widower of Eleanor Papapietro, loving wife of 52 years, passed away on Friday, February 6, 2009 with his loving family at his side.
Robert was born on January 13, 1936 in Bristol, the youngest of Angelo and Donata (Autera) Papapietro’s thirteen children.
Mr. Papapietro was a retired firefighter for Bristol Engine Co. 5. He was a member of the Eagles and Elks fraternal orders.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Michael and Patricia Papapietro of Bristol; his daughter and son-in-law Shirley and Gary Guisto of Bristol; his son Edward Papapietro of East Hartford; his grandchildren, Thomas Ubermuth of New Britain and Kalynn Ubermuth of Bristol; his brother and sister-in-law Angelo and Viola Papapietro of Burlington; his sister Dorothy Swanson of Bristol, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by his siblings, Ann, Domenic, Isabelle, Jim, John, Josephine, Marge, Polly, Rocky and Vito.
