Hartford resident Robert Matthew Lincoln passed away at the age of 78 with his eldest son Mark Zen by his side on Apr. 4, 2015, after a long illness. He was preceded in death in 2013 by his beloved wife of 23 years, Joan Gervais. Bob & Joan traveled extensively together & shared nearly 2 decades of service supporting Mended Hearts, Inc. He served honorably in the U.S. Marines during the Korean War. Bob was proud to be a Life member of the American Legion. His spare time was spent as an accomplished photographer, leatherworker, & calligraphist. Born to Isaiah William & Hilda Clough Lincoln in Portland, ME on Feb. 26, 1937, Bob is survived by his younger siblings: Janice Waller Brett, Doris Ames, Joan (& Ron) Morton, Tracy (& Patty) Lincoln, & Jennifer Lincoln; his children: Mark (& Melody Miller) Zen; Susan (& Michael) Henderson, Roberta Lincoln, Christine Angel; Kelly Lincoln & Stacey Hoffman; & numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, & nephews.
