Mr. Robert “Bob ” Carson, 82, of Newnan and formerly of Marietta, Ga., died Monday, November 5, 2001 at Newnan Hospital.
Mr. Carson was born March 31, 1919 in Marietta, Ga. and worked as a machinist for National Can. A United States veteran, he served in the Marines.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Carson of Newnan; sons, David George of Merced, CA, Robert A. Carson of Fayetteville, GA, and William M. Carson of Griffin, Georgia; daughter, Yvonne Harvey of Douglasville, Georgia; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
