He was born, January 23, 1932 in Hobbs, Indiana and resided most of his life in Anderson. He was retired from Delco Remy, Anderson, IN. He served his country in the United States Army.
Robert is survived by his daughters, Roberta (Randy) Reichenbach of Anderson, Christina Marie (Robb) Phillips of Clermont, FL, sister Byllie Louise Book VanHorn of Tipton, IN, grandchildren, Angela Ramseyer, Elizabeth Johnson, Michael Reichenbach, Sarah Coffman, Shannon Hoesli, Kelly Vaisey, Ryan Whitmer, 19 great-grandchildren. He was also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Eva Mae Book, and a brother, Joseph E. Book.
