Robert Lynn Hunt, November 20, 1935 – January 2, 2013.
Mr. Hunt died January 2, 2013 in Harker Heights from the debilitating effects of Parkinson’s disease. Mr. Hunt was born in Houston, the son of James Robert Hunt and Clanon (Pritchard) Hunt. He grew up in Houston. Mr. Hunt was a graduate of Sam Houston State University. He married Mary Clarke, June 9, 1962, in Huntsville.
The couple made their home in Pearland in 1970. He taught school in Houston and Pearland Schools, and later worked for AMF Tuboscope. He was an active member of the Methodist church, teaching youth and adult classes and serving his church in many other ways.
They moved to Belton in 2002. Mr. Hunt is survived by his wife of 50 years, his daughter Denise Clazel of Georgetown, grandchildren Phaedra and Gareth Koonz and great-grandson Finn Moses and a loving extended family.
