KROPA, ROBERT LEWIS, SR.
Lakeland – Robert Lewis Kropa, Sr. Passed away on December 31, 2006 of Heart Failure. Born in Meriden, CT. he came to Lakeland from Lewiston, Me in 1998. Mr. Kropa was a supervisor in construction, and a Catholic. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and was past commander of American Legion in ME, he was a member of American Legion Post 4, here in Lakeland, where he was instrumental in getting the new addition to the Post . Bob was a life member of Post 32 of the AM-Vets, Life member of Tin Can Sailors and the Lakeland Elks. Mr. Kropa was pre-deceased by his son, Dean Kropa. Survivors include his wife, Jean Kropa of Lakeland, Robert Lewis Kropa, Jr. of Florida.
