ROBERT LEHMAN
Robert Lehman, 73, of Carlisle, died Saturday, January 4, 2014 in the Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Carlisle.
Born January 7, 1940 in Cleversburg, he was a son of the late David H. and Margaret F. (Eutzy) Lehman.
Mr. Lehman retired in 1999 from PennDOT, where he had worked as a heavy equipment operator.
He was a graduate of Shippensburg High School and loved hunting, camping and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He had been associated with Boy Scout Troop 160, Carlisle and was a member of Hickorytown United Methodist Church, where he was a member of the “eggmakers.”
Bob was a devoted and loving family man.
He was preceded in death by a son: Scott A. Lehman; a grand daughter: Haley Sue Lehman; four sisters: Ruth Rhinehart, Gladys Darr, Lillie Shoemaker and Betty Black and three brothers: Earl, David and Stewart Lehman.
Surviving are his wife: Sandra (Derr) Lehman; two sons: Brian (and wife Liz) of York Haven and Eric (and wife Susan) of Carlisle; a sister: Shirley West of Roxbury; grandchildren: Tim Lehman, Travis Lehman, Cody Lehman, Destiny Lehman, Elena Lehman, Melissa Erazo and Lizzie Roman; great grandchildren: Daja Vega, David Vega, Xavier Erazo, Gabriel Laureano and Sadie Lehman as well as several nieces and nephews.
