DURHAM- Mr. Robert Lee “Bobby” Wallace, 72, passed away Monday, October 15, 2018 at Hock Family Pavilion after a short . Wallace was born February 19, 1946 in Durham, NC to the late Henry and Bereatha Wallace. He worked at Nortel for 20 years where he retired and recently retired again from Almac Clinical services where he was a facility technician. Mr. Wallace was a founding member of Bull City Street Rod Association. He enjoyed having Pig Pickin’s. Mr. Wallace often provided his 1937 Ford for many weddings and special occasions. He enjoyed history, the mountains and trips to the beach, and many excursions to restored antique car shows. Mr. Wallace held Pig Pickin’s in honor of auto mechanics instructor Tony Lopez for many years. Mr. Wallace will be remembered as a loving husband, brother and uncle. He had a wealth of friends who will cherish the memories, laughter and good . Wallace is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Bereatha Wallace; brother, Edmond . Wallace is survived by his wife Brenda Sue Wallace of Durham, NC; brother, Ronald Wallace of Hillsborough, NC; sister, Judith Hill (David) of Hillsborough, NC and several nieces and nephews.m.m.
