On April 22, 2012, Robert Lawrence Mosberg, Sr., 88, passed away. He was the beloved husband of 65 years of Gloria (nee Walters), dear father of Robert Mosberg, Jr., Barbara Forcey, Janice Rindone, Nancy Eyler and Karen Bailey, loving brother of Margaret Wells, cherished grandfather of 11 grand and 6 great granchildren and uncle of several nieces and nephews.
Robert was a 55 year resident of Glen Burnie. He served our country in the United States Army Air Force from April 20, 1943 to October 27, 1945 as a gunner and radio operator. He worked for Carr Lowery Glass Company for 40 years.
Robert enjoyed watching sports, especially the Baltimore Orioles and the Ravens. He loved cats and liked managing finances. He especially loved watching his family grow.
Among the many accomplishments in his life, Robert was inducted into the Maryland Drum and Bugle Corps Hall of Fame in 2011. He was also a longtime member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 7025, in Glen Burnie where he held an Honorary Lifetime Membership.
The family will recieve friends on Weds, April 25 from 3-5 & 7-9 PM.
