Born Dec. 28, 1921, in Logansport, he was the son of Lawrence E. Timmons and Estella M. Hartman Timmons. He was married May 26, 1941, in Lancaster, Ohio, to Marjorie J. Walters, who survives.
Bob was a retired rural mail carrier for the U. S.
Bob was a 1938 graduate of Logansport High School.
Also surviving are one son, John E. and Phyllis Timmons, Logansport; daughters and son-in-law, Jacque Byrkett, Indianapolis, Rebecca J. and Jerry Stover, Logansport; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jacob “Jake” and Josephine Timmons, Logansport, George “Richard” and Joanne Timmons, Logansport; sister, Jo Ellen “Sally” Boller, Columbus, Ohio; grandchildren and their spouses, James and Michelle Norzinskay, Noblesville, Renee Trammell, Whitestown, Robert J. and Pam Stover, Columbia City, Michael A. and Cynthia Stover, Fishers, Jennifer Graves, Jena Timmons and John A. Timmons, all of Logansport; 12 great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
One brother, John E. Timmons preceded in death.
