Robert L Reveal, 85, of Anderson, passed away on January 11, 2021, at his residence. He was born on March 20, 1935, in Hamilton County, the son of George Elmer and Fairy Marie (Lugenbeal) Reveal.
Bob proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was married and spent 59 years with his loving wife, Lucille Reveal. He lived in Anderson most of his life and had many friends and family members in the area. He enjoyed working outdoors in his garden, attending his children’s activities, attending local sporting events, visiting with neighbors and friends, and especially gatherings, reunions, and holidays with the Reveal and Kimm families. He loved to laugh and was recognized as the storyteller and historian for the Reveal family. He retired from the Delco-Remy Division of General Motors in 1997, after 33 1/2 years of service, having worked as a machine repairman.
Bob is survived by his children, Robert “Bobby” (Zanobia Zubair) Reveal of Dallas, TX, and Brenda (Jen Tribbett) Reveal of Austin, TX; siblings, Loretta (Dick) Ginder of Anderson and Larry (Connie) Reveal of VA; grandchildren, Cole (Zoey) Reveal, and Zachary Reveal; great-granddaughter, Luna Reveal; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lucille Reveal; and his sisters, Caroline Moore, and Dorothy Robertson.
