Robert Loetscher, 82, of Fort Collins passed away Friday, May 4, 2018. Robert was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Friday, April 10, 1936, to parents Cassimir Joseph Loetscher and Thelma Beatrice (Percefull) Loetscher. After graduating from St. Mary’s High School in 1954, Robert attended University of Colorado, Boulder from 1954-1957 for mechanical engineering. He then studied at the Denver Drafting and Electronics School and graduated in 1963. Robert later graduated from the Dale Carnegie Course: Effective Speaking and Human Relations in 1969. He also attended the Xerox Technical Schools from 1964 to 1969, as well as the RCA Institute of Electronics in 1969. Robert was married in 1974 to Eileen (Rehm) Loetscher in Denver, Colorado. Robert worked for the City of Colorado Springs Street Department in 1956. He was then employed with Skidmore, Owings, and Merill Engineers and Architects as a junior draftsman in 1957. In 1958, Robert then began working with Tarman Tours in Colorado Springs. Robert also served for four years, from 1958 to 1962, in the United States Army.
