Robert L. Johnson Robert L. “Bob” Johnson, 66, of Bethlehem, passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at Geisinger Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre. He was the husband of Nancy “Ginger” (Fenstermaker) Johnson, with whom he shared over 35 years of loving marriage. Born in Quakertown, Bob was a son of the late George and Ellen Johnson. He graduated from Quakertown Community High School, and then served as a sergeant in the US Marine Corps, where he was an aviation mechanic during his tour in Vietnam. He later graduated from Northampton Community College, and studied theatrical make-up. Bob was a salesman for MirOil Filter Company, a bus driver for the Catasauqua School District, a custodian at Calvary Wesleyan Church, and also worked at the Bethlehem Municipal Golf Club. He and his wife were also owners of the Gingerbread House Christian Day Care, where he was known as “Uncle Bobby”. Bob was a member of Calvary Wesleyan Church. He greatly enjoyed playing golf, and was proud to be an active part of his grandchildrens lives. Survivors: Wife Ginger; son Acey Johnson and his wife Long Lee of Parker, CO; daughters Joelle Mabey and her husband Matthew of Washington, MI, Nancy Zottarelli and her husband Rod of Slatington, Marnie and Alicia Johnson; brother Dale Wehinger of North Carolina; sister Debbie Blachard and her husband Geoff of California; 12 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
