Funeral Services for Robert L. “Bud” Alford, Sr., age 76, of Flora, MS, who passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2021, will be held Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at 3:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.Visitation will be Tuesday, October 19, 2021 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home. Entombment will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.Bro. Beau Comeaux will officiate the service.A native of Eastland, TX, he was a retired Service Technician for Johnson Controls. Robert also worked at Honeywell, Inc. He was a member of Franklin Baptist Church. Robert enjoyed riding his Goldwing motorcycle, fishing, being outdoors, and spending time with his family and friends. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lee Alford and Bertha Lea Taylor Alford; his loving and devoted wife, Betty Baker Alford; his sisters, Shirley Lynch and Barbara Crudgington; his sister in law, Nancy Baker; and his mother in law, Ann Baker.Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Robert L. (Daisy) Alford, Jr., Benjamin J. (Racquel) Alford, and Jonathan R. Alford; his grandchildren, Tiffany Alford, Robert L. (Virginia) Alford, III, Chris (Ashleigh) Nowell, Caitlin (Zach) Smith, Josh Alford, and Dolly Alford; his great grandchildren, Jordan Alford, Nevaeh Williams, Riley Nowell, Finleigh Nowell, Willow Nowell, and Hazel Smith; his sisters, Ida (Gary) Norris, and Sylvia Moreland; his sister in law, Paula Chilton; his brother in laws, Sammy Baker and Jimmy Chilton; and several nieces and nephews.
