Robert L. Allen, 86, of Tallahassee, peacefully passed away Friday, April 15, 2016.
The son of Leroy and Helen Lee Allen, of blessed memory, he was born May 21, 1929, in Bloomington, Indiana. He is also preceded in death by his first wife, Patricia Allen, and a sister. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and was retired from US Steel. He is survived by his wife, Hazel Hudson Cox Allen; son, Cliff (Corey) Allen; stepson, Bobby Cox, Sr.; grandchildren, Brandon Allen, Nathan Allen, Nicholas Allen; step-grandchildren, Bobby Cox, Jr. and Mindy Coleman; step-great-grandchildren, Braxton Coleman and Tyler Cox.
