Robert was born April 18, 1937, in Kalamazoo, son of the late Louis and Gertrude (Boeshaas) Acuna. On October 6, 1956, he married the former Donna Draper who preceded him in death in February 2014.
He is survived by his children, Mark E. (Cathy) Acuña, Julie (David) Doolen, David J. (Jenny) Acuña, and Kathryn S. (Mark) Jones; 9 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and his sisters, Donna Mathers, and Karen Clemens, and Jean Wank; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Acuna.
