Robert Kenneth Schmidt, age 46, a lifetime resident of Pasadena, died at his home on April 21, 2014 after a brief illness.
He was born on December 21, 1967, in Baltimore, to Dorothy and the late Louis Samuel Schmidt. After attending Northeast High School, he went to work for Smith Shipyard.
Robert is survived by his beloved wife of 14 years: Tracy Schmidt; his mother Dorothy Schmidt, of Pasadena; two sisters: Deanna Casey, of Clearwater, Florida, and Melissa Schmidt, of Pasadena; his brother Brian Schmidt, of Pasadena; father and mother in law Melvin and Donna Cain, brother and sister in law Brian and Wendy Cain, all of Pasadena; and seven nieces and nephews: Marcelino Ferrer, III, Nicole and Alex Ferrer, Mikey Hannon, III, Caitlyn and Taylor Cain, and Brian Cain, Jr.
