Robert Joseph Pajares passed away peacefully at his home in Madisonville, LA on July 16, 2015, with his family by his side. He was 98 years old. He was born and raised in New Orleans, La. and lived on Royal Street in the French Quarter with his late sisters, Grace Salorio, Emma Rosich and Amelia Dalferes and late brothers, Albert Pajares, Edward Pajares, George Pajares, Raoul Pajares and Adolph Pajares. He resided in New Orleans until moving to Madisonville, La. in 1999. He lived on the North Shore until his death. He is the husband of the love of his life, the late, Louise Roth Pajares. They were married for 65 years, until she passed away on September 11, 2002. He is the father of Robert Anthony Pajares (wife, Judy) and Raymond Joseph Pajares (wife, Mona). He is the grandfather of Rhonda Pajares Roth, Robert A. Pajares, Jr., Raquel Pajares Incardonna, Robert Joseph Pajares and Christopher David Pajares. He was the uncle of John Roth, Jr., Brenda Roth Guichet (Bobby), Leonard Roth (Carroll), and Nick Roth (Vicky). He has many other nieces and nephews. He is the great-grandfather of Rebecca Roth, Renee Roth, Rachel Incardonna, Ross Incardonna, Nicholas Pajares, Nathan Pajares, Nicole Pajares and Noelle Pajares. During World War II, he worked for Higgins Industries of New Orleans.
