Robert J Brett, 65, passed away unexpectedly in his home January 21st. Bob was a life-long resident of Waterbury.
Bob was born on July 31, 1956 to the late Joe and Lucille (Tutolo) Brett and the oldest of four. A caring older brother, he leaves his sisters Mary Louise Bivona, Kathy (Dan) Callahan, and Rosemarie Murray. He was a warm and loving uncle to Kathleen (Adam) Buggy, Jackie (Chris) Corcoran, Joseph Bivona (Mickayla), William Bivona (Haley), Carolyn Callahan, and Tori Callahan. He also adored his great-niece, Mckenna Corcoran, and great-nephews Mason Buggy and Connor Corcoran. He will be missed by his aunts and uncles, many cousins and neighbors, as well as the numerous dogs that he cared for over the years. He was met in heaven with a handshake and a hug from his brother-in-law, Biff Bivona.
Bob had a kind and generous soul that was evident through his love for his family. He found much joy in the Red Sox, UCONN Huskies basketball, and the Patriots. Music was a large part of his life, and he enjoyed collecting and listening to CDs.
