Robert Jose Noriega, known to many as “Poncho”, 85, of Suffolk, VA passed away on August 3, 2024. He was the son of Vincente and Teofila Noriega. He is preceded in death by his sister, Rosa Shive.Poncho loved fishing and hunting with a passion. He also had a green thumb for gardening. He was self employed as a general contractor and owned Poncho’s Bait Tackle with his loving wife. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Judy P. Noriega; son, Robert J. Noreiga, Jr.; daughters, Teofila M. Leef and Sheri R. Dunbar; grandchildren, Robbie, Steven, Patrick, and Judy Marie; great grandchildren, Sierra, Bailey, Matthew, Elijah, Savanna, and Sebastian.
