Robert J. Reynolds, age 70, of Plymouth died on November 14, 2018, at home. He is now reunited with his cherished wife of 23 years, Christine M. Reynolds, who passed away in January of 2000. Born in Weymouth on July 31, 1948, he was the son of James and Marie Reynolds. He married the love of his life on February 5, 1977. He worked for BFI for many years, and later as a custodian for the Town of Plymouth, until he retired in 2013. He enjoyed being with friends and family, gardening, cooking (known for his famous taco nights), being on the water and going on long walks along the Cape Cod Canal. He will forever be loved by the many people he impacted throughout his life. Robert is survived by his daughter Cindy Walker and his siblings Marie Wright, Patty Scott, Kathy Reynolds and the late James Reynolds. He also leaves behind 7 nieces and 7 nephews for whom he loved like his own children, and his 18 grandnieces, grandnephews and 1 great-grandnephew who all knew him as “Uncle Grandpa.” Robert was a family man whose family extended far beyond those for whom he was related. To some he was a second father, to others an adopted bother or uncle, and to everyone a person you could count on for unconditional love. A graveside service will be held at Vine Hills on Saturday, November 24 at 2:30, followed by a celebration of life at 3:30 at The Sun Dynasty in Plymouth, MA. Please send flowers to Davis Funeral Home at 373 Court St., Plymouth, MA 02360 or in lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Robert’s name to C. Thomas Clagett Jr. Memorial Clinic and Regatta.
