Robert J. Lauletta, there will be days when the fishing is better than one’s most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.Sharing the fun of fishing turns strangers into friends in a few hours. They will lead you to the haunts of the specimens you desire and you could not find yourself in safer and more enjoyable company. Tight lines, warm breezes, good friends, and plenty of bait doesn’t get any better. Robert J. Lauletta was a true boatman, fishing and riding on the Delaware River.

Robert cast his final line on May 22 in Gloucester City at the age of 66. He was born on December 8, 1954 to the late Frank & Ottillie Lauletta (nee Egold) in Camden, NJ.  He is also predeceased by his late wife Barbara (nee Lee).  Robert worked as a Boiler Room Operator at Cooper University Medical Center in Camden.  He was a piece of work with a good sense of humor. A sense of humor is much needed armor.  Joy in one’s heart and some laugher one one’s lips. He was a genuine, kind, and selfless guy who loved Thursday night dinners, and dinners at Adelphia’s Restaurant.

Family is what you make it.  It is made strong, not by the number of heads at the dinner table, but by the rituals you help family members create, by the memories you share, and by the love you show one another.   Robert is survived and will be greatly missed by his son Todd Lauletta and his wife Lauren, brothers Harry and his wife Debbie and Frank Lauletta, grandson Damen, and nieces Kelly and her wife Jill, Amanda, Melissa, Heather and her husband Sean, and Jamie and her husband Duncan, as well as nephews Patrick and his wife Lauren, Billy and wife Kelly, and Kyle. Robert is also survived and will be missed by Patty Cree, Debbie Philips and Carl Lee, Jr.
