Robert Joachim Hufft, Sr., passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at the age of 100. Beloved husband of the late Isabel Breitling Hufft. Father of Kathleen Millsap, Deborah Broussard (James), Robert J. Hufft, Jr., Sharon Schembre (Anthony) and Brenda LeBlanc. Preceded in death by his sisters Sylvia Evans, Catherine Bonner and Anna Mae Dodge. Son of the late Robert J. Hufft and Alice Frosch Hufft. Also survived by 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1942 to 1945 as a Radioman First Class. He worked 26 years for States Marine Shipping as a Purchasing Agent. He retired from Marine Splicing & Supply in 1981. He was an active member of the Knights of Columbus for 81 years and served as Grand Knight. He was also a member of the American Legion, AARP, and the St. Angela Merici Men’s Club.
