Robert J. Dickensheet, 63 of Fairmount, Indiana died on Monday, January 19, 2015, at Lutheran Hospital in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. Born Thursday, May 24, 1951 in Marion, Indiana, he was the son of the late Arthur Dickensheet and Irene Huffman Dickensheet. He attended Marion Schools and Lincoln Tech in Indianapolis.

Robert served in the Army during the Vietnam Conflict from May 1968 to April, 1971. He had most recently been employed by Clark Service Stations as a supervisor in Marion and Fort Wayne and had also worked on the fuel docks in New Orleans.

Robert was a former member of the Jonesboro American Legion Post95. He loved music especially old time rock and roll, fishing, watching WWF and WCW and goofy movies with the grand kids.

Surviving are his wife of 24 years Linda (Gary) Dickensheet, married in Pigeon Forge, TN on August 4, 1990 Son, Freddie (Ashlee Cooley) Ricketts of Hartford City, IN, 2 Step-Sons; Ron (Amanda) Brummett, Marion, IN Billy (Erica) Brummett, VanBuren, IN Brother, Joe (Judy) Dickensheet of Upland, IN, Sister, Donna M. Williams of Gas City, IN. and 13 Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother James Dickensheet.
