Robert Ian Keith, age 87, passed away Thursday, August 2, 2018 at his home in Newnan, GA. He was born on November 5, 1930 in Harrogate, Yorkshire England to the late Robert Keith and Dorothy Blackwell Keith. Ian was commissioned into the Royal Signals, HM Army and later work in Africa for National Westminster Bank. He retired from Cummings Engine Manufacturing as their Financial Controller.
He was a keen cricketer, having played County cricket for Yorkshire and was a member of the tennis club. He enjoyed time working in his garden.” Along with his parents Robert is preceded in death by his daughter Adele Keith and his sister Aline Parker. He is survived by his wife, Jean Keith; children, Simon Keith, Peter Couzens and wife Lesley, Angela Couzens; grandchildren, Christopher Keith, Gareth Couzens, Hannah Couzens, Jackson Couzens, Braylin Swett, Regan Swett and Amelia Swett.
