Yorktown – Robert H. Miller, Jr., 86, passed away Thursday, November 29, 2012 at his residence in Yorktown, IN. He was born April 10, 1926, in Huntington, West Virginia the son of Robert H., Sr., and Mary L. Hambleton Miller, and lived in Miller, Ohio, prior to moving to Yorktown.
He graduated from YorktownHigh School, attended BallStateUniversity and served in the Army Air Corps during World War II.
Mr. Miller was employed at Ball Corporation in Research and Development and the Purchasing Department prior to his retirement.
Surviving are his son, Robert H. Miller, III, (wife, Diane), New Castle, IN; his daughter, Jean Ann Ingermann, (husband, Jim), Palm Coast, Florida; three grandchildren, Ryan Reed, Nicole Weaver, (husband, Andrew), and Richard Miller; and five great grandchildren, Jancy Reed, Gabby Reed, Reagan Reed, William Weaver and Benjamin Weaver.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Billie Irby Miller, and his son Donald I. Miller.
