Robert H. Miller, 87, of 54 Coventry Rd., Bristol, beloved husband of Rosemary (Kelly) Miller, died Tuesday (January 15, 2008) at Bristol Hospital.
He was born June 29, 1920 in Bristol, son of the late Michael and Alfrieda (Kirschner) Miller. He had served with the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II, having been a recipient of the Purple Heart, and later joined the Army National Guard. Mr. Miller was a well known carpenter in the Bristol area and was a member of the Carpenters Union Local #24 .
Besides his wife, Rosemary, he is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Eric Farken, Sr. of Bristol; his four grandchildren, Eric Farken, Jr., Robert Farken, Heather Halpin, and Amber Phillips; his eight great-grandchildren, Haley, Keyanna, Alyssa, Paige, Jacob, Caitlin, Elizabeth, and Emily.
