Robert, H. Lachapelle Jr, 82 of Seekonk, MA died peacefully on Wednesday with his wife, daughter, grandchildren and God daughter Kristen by his side. Born in Central Falls, Rhode Island, he was the son of the late Robert H. Lachapelle, Sr. and Germaine (Bernier) Lachapelle.
After graduating from St. Raphael Academy, he went on to Providence College and then Mt. Ida where he obtained a degree in Mortuary Science. He proudly served his country during the Vietnam War when he enlisted as a Medic in the Rhode Island Army National Guard.
In 1968 he met the love of his life, Marguerite (DiSanto) Lachapelle and they had one daughter, Christine.
Beside his parents, he is predeceased by a grandson, Noah Henry.
Robert is survived by his loving wife Marguerite, daughter Christine and her husband Bill, his sister Pauline Silva and her husband Jack, and six (6) grandchildren, Tyler, Christian, Morgan and her wife Karen, Andrew, Sophia and Quinn. He also leaves many nieces, nephews, and God children whom he adored.
