Robert H. DeSpirito Robert H. DeSpirito, 76 of Ridgefield, husband of Joanne (Plate) DeSpirito died on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at Danbury Hospital. Mr. DeSpirito a retired civil engineer with the Long Island Railroad is also survived by two sons, Robert and John; two daughters, Lauren McGeary and Christina Lombardozzi; a brother, sister in law, brother in law, nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
