Robert H. “Bob” Adams, 77, of Bristol, husband of Alberta (Rindfleisch) Adams, died Thursday, August 2, 2007, at home. Bob was born May 3, 1930, in Bristol, a son of the late Rupert and Hazel (Spenser) Adams Rappleyea.
Bob was employed by Northeast Utilities until his retirement. He was a US Marine Veteran of the Korean War. Bob was a lover of horses, and formerly owned two ponies named Bud and Tony. He was a member of the Litchfield Hills Driving Club.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Guy R. and Patricia Adams of Newington, a daughter and son-in-law, Darlene and Gary Mikulak of Bristol, three grandchildren, Michael R. Adams of Newington, and Jason and Jenna Redman of Bristol, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Frances Abbey, and a brother, Don Adams.
