Robert “Bob” Grashoff, the
pilot with a heart of a lion,
passed away on May 25, 2012
after loosing his fight against
cancer.
Bob was born in Buffalo, N.Y.
On October 6, 1918. He is
survived by his loving wife of
seventy years, Marjorie Davies
Grashoff; Son Robert B.
Grashoff; Son Stewart A.
Grashoff and spouse Teresa N.
Grashoff from Orlando; and
Grandsons Samuel B. and
Benjamin A. Grashoff from
Overland Park, Kansas. He
Is also survived by Brothers
Thomas and Richard and Sisters
Mary Jane and Betty Lou.
After graduating from High
School in 1936, he attended Buffalo
University and worked at Buffalo
Forge Co. As war loomed on the
Horizon, he enlisted in the Army
In 1940. Commissioned at 2nd Lt.
In 1942, he became a Bombardier,
Navigator, and a Pilot.
