Robert George Michael Biage, 60, of Peru passed away May 20, 2010 in his home.

Funeral Services will be 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 25 at Mueller Funeral Home, Peru followed by Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m. at St. Valentines Church, Peru, with Rev. William Gardner, pastor officiating. Burial will be in Peru City Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Monday with recital of the Rosary at 4 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Biage was born September 24, 1949 in Danville to Robert D. and Mary Lou (Lisick) Biage. He married Kathy Danko on May 24, 1975 at St. Marys Church in Westville, IL. He was an Eagle Scout. He worked for Carus Chemical Co, LaSalle for 31 years, retiring in 2008 and served as an instructor in the I.V.C.C. Chemistry Lab. He was a member of St. Valentines Church, Peru. American Chemical Society, Union of Concerned Scientists. Southern Poverty Law Center and Green America.

He is survived by his wife Kathy, his mother Mary Lou Biage of Westville, children, Robert G. Biage, Jr., of Moline and Rebecca Whitney Biage of Revere, MA; 3 brothers, Bruce (Brenda) Biage of Danville, Phillip (Marcy) Biage of Batavia and Todd Biage of Westville and a sister, Suzanne (James) Pascoe of Hoopeston, IL.

He was preceded in death by his father Robert Donald Biage. Pallbearers will be Bobby Biage, Jr., Tim Martin, Keith Garcia, Phillip G. Biage, Matthew Biage and Todd Biage.
