Robert “Bob” Armstrong, age 78 of Atlantic, Iowa, died at his home in Atlantic on Tuesday, October 12, 2021. He was born in Atlantic on November 18, 1942, to Gail and Glendale (Grennell) Armstrong. He grew up on what is now the Armstrong Research Farm west of Lewis, IA. Bob received his education in Lewis, and later graduated from Griswold High School in 1961.
On November 26, 1966, Bob was united in marriage to Mary Landon in Atlantic. In January of 1972, Bob had a Kidney Transplant. They lived on a farm west of Lewis until moving to Atlantic in 1991.
