Age 65 of Elsie passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2017. A Funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Oakley Community Church with Pastor John Miller officiating. The family will receive friends at the church that day from 11:00am until the service.Robert was born on January 11, 1952 to Melvin and Maxine Woody in Saginaw. He served in the United States Marines during the Vietnam War. During his life, Robert was a big sports fan, especially of U of M football. He was a “Jack of all trades” and enjoyed working on cars. Above all, he loved spending time with his family, his grandchildren, and his dog, Smokey.Robert is survived by his children, April Woody and Brad Woody; his partner, Margaret Pupava; his 5 grandchildren; and his brothers, Mike Woody, Dennis Woody, and Doug Woody.He is predeceased by his parents and his brothers, Dale and Darrel Woody.Memorial contributions are suggested to the family.
