Born in Newberry, FL on July 6, 1939 to Virginia B. Sizemore and Lewis Black. Frank lost his battle with cancer on July 20, 2019. Frank was a long-time resident of Coweta County who was employed by Nabisco in Atlanta for many years and was a Journeymen Electrician with IBEW of Atlanta from which he retired. He was very active in the Newnan Moose Lodge and served as governor multiple times. He also attained the Pilgrim Degree of Merit, the highest honor awarded members of the Moose Fraternity. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Bettie Ann Black, of Newnan. He was the proud father of four children. Predeceased son, Robert Franklin Black Jr. surviving daughters, Deborah Grasso and husband Bill of Sharpsburg, Kerry McGuffey of Newnan, Jaime Jordan and her husband Ronald of Newnan and his sister, Johnia Browning of Flowery Branch, GA. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Frank is preceded in death by his son, Robert Franklin Black, Jr.
