Robert Fields Robert Fields, 91, a retired registered nurse, singer and actor, of Sandy Hook, CT and New York, NY, husband of Mary (nee Kaplun) Brown Fields, died on Monday, April 21, 2014 at Danbury Hospital. Mr. Fields was born in Spring Valley, NY, December 26, 1922, son of Samuel and Molly (nee Glazer) Feldstein. He attended New York schools and after raising his children, returned to college and graduated with a degree in nursing. After years of practice as a Registered Nurse, Mr. Fields then entered the entertainment world as a singer and actor. He was a U.S. World War II veteran serving with the Army Airforce in Panama. In addition to his wife Mary, he is survived by two sons, Jeffrey Feldstein and Bradley Feldstein; a daughter, Nancy Lloyd; a sister, Millie Renert; two brothers, Sol Feldstein and Jerry Feldstein and several nieces and nephews including Dr. Helene Karlin, Dr. Roger Karlin and Paula McConnell.
