Robert F. “Bob” Weistart, 58, of LaSalle, passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at Illinois Valley Community Hospital, Peru. Mr. Weistart was born March 4, 1961 in LaSalle to William and Judith (Sorrentino) Weistart. He was a graduate of LaSalle-Peru High School. Mr. Weistart was a member of the Knights of Columbus in LaSalle. He was employed as a technician for Getz Fire Equipment Company for 17 years.
He enjoyed fishing, golfing and woodworking. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR and baseball. Survivors include his significant other, Cheryl (Nolasco) Weistart; his daughter, Tricia Weistart of Oglesby; two sisters, Tina Soberri of Oglesby and Gina (Mark) Williams of Peru; one brother, Billy (Ada) Weistart of Tonica and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and a niece.
