Robert Czopoth Robert F. Czopoth, 93, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at St. Lukes Hospital, Fountain Hill. He shared over 61 years of loving marriage with his wife, the late Vera (Hartzell) Czopoth, until her passing in 2007. Born in Bethlehem, Robert was the son of the late Josef and Julia (Partelly) Czopoth. He continued the family operation of the Lehigh Tavern, and later managed the South Terrace Apartments for the Bethlehem Housing Authority and the Episcopal House Apartments in Allentown. He greatly enjoyed serving on the Board of Directors of the Bethlehem Boys Club. Robert was a member of Christ Church UCC, and of the Goodfellows Club. His family gratefully acknowleges the wonderful care recently provided to him by Olena Lugo and Linda Lenner. Survivors: Son Dr. Robert J. Czopoth and wife Lynn of Mt. Bethel; daughter Kelly Murphy of Allentown; grandchildren Jonathan Czopoth, Mollie Czopoth, Jody Only and her husband Pete and daughter Alana; step-granddaughter Jessica Langouer. Robert was predeceased by his sister Josephine Riss.
