Robert Eugene “Rooster” Nichols-Mitchell, aged 4, of Arenzville passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2019.
He was born March 10, 2015, in Jacksonville, the son of Chuck and Tiffany Nichols Mitchell.
He is survived by his parents; one sister and two brothers, December Mitchell, Chuck “Bug” Mitchell Jr., and Daniel Mitchell; maternal grandparents Robert Eugene and Pam Nichols of Jacksonville; paternal grandparents Christina and Frank Marshall of Jacksonville; maternal great-grandparents Pat Draper of Jacksonville and Claude Draper of Medora; paternal great-grandparents Bill and Kathy West of Jacksonville; aunts and uncles Breann Nichols Milam of Jacksonville, Brittany and Ross Lowell of California, Lacie Nichols (Bradley Hozian) of Murrayville, Katie and Erik Matth of North Dakota, and Russel Coultas of Bluffs; and great-aunt Alice Mitchell of Alsey.
He was preceded in death by one uncle, Daniel Kent Bangert; maternal great-grandparents Russell and Patricia Nichols; and paternal great-grandparents Charlie and Margaret Mitchell.
Rooster was a polite and caring boy, always curious, and he was eager to please. He thought of himself as Robin, his father as Batman, and his Papa as Superman! He always strived to be a Superhero, and wanted to be a Police Officer so he would really be a Superhero.
